Sorry, it keeps asking me on my walls and message box.
I see ... I see ... I do not see anything ... I see a vision .... yes it is present with us,... I feel his presence ...
1. Download Windows 8.1 Enterprise zh-CN (Check download link in Enterprise thread). 2. Extract files. 3. Download install.wim (Check download link in Core/Pro/SL thread). 4. Extract both parts. 5. Overwrite install.wim (Copy install.wim in sources folder) 6. Burn files on DVD. 7. Install. 8. Enjoy in the charms of Windows 8.1.
Careful when doing that, this method doesn't seem to work. A good piece of advice would be NOT TO FORMAT anything until someone has tested and approved this method and spare yourself a few hours of frustration.
This method didn't work for me until I edited the lang.ini file in Sources to this: Code: [Available UI Languages] en-us = 3 [Fallback Languages] zh-CN = en-us My EI.CFG looks like this: Code: [EditionID] Professional [Channel] Volume [VL] 0 I'm on Win 8 Pro, VL.
Problem is, doing that is tantamount to mixing files from different origins. Sure, it works great when you are using the proper files, with the edition / image they're meant to be used with. If you were to do the same thing with the files we currently have, that wouldn't be the case! Moreover, the Wim file MAY be corrupt.
Can I upgrade to RTM by using just the WIM file ? Or can someone upload an iso without the wim file ? so I don't have to waste another gigs
