If you trust the source you still need the hash, to ensure your download didn't go flaky. The one time I went ahead and burned a dvd without bothering to check if the hash matched, was the one time I encountered a disc that wouldn't install... go figure

This is true I will most likely wait until it makes its way to a FTP I'm on. However I would presume that we will be getting the Hash and File sizes by September 1st. I have no further info I can give regarding this as the rest is pure speculation on my part. I saw the information posted as well on a different page Also at ammarman.
