Your suggestion is good. Anyway we encounter always the same little problems. First something leaks and is posted by a member who does not necessarily contribute a lot. Then the question: Is the leak the same as MSDN release. And later the official RTM links and finally the DMCA take-down request. For now members need to make the effort to find their links somewhere buried in one of those threads. I myself am @work and can only moderate from time to time.
I'm on the open beta of windows 8.1 but i cant install its saying im already on windows 8.1 i wont to upgrade and not lose everythink? can you help me.
I'm not 100% sure as I'm back to 8.0 atm. Why do you need a certain Version ? Both Drivers work also under 8.0.
I plan to buy computer in November and I will install Windows 8.1 Pro x64 on computer. And I plan on my laptop in late September (in this time warranty for my laptop expires) and I will upgrade my laptop from Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 to Windows 8.0 Pro or 8.1 Pro x86.
If they bring out another Version for the RTM, then most likely at a date much closer to the official RTM-Release.
RTM is RTM, will not change, because it has the delta 16384, later hotfixes will get a higher delta, and they could only be compiled and installed based on the first sign-off RTM build .
Yeah, but if there would be a NVIDIA GeForce-Driver (especially) for the RTM, then it would be not existent yet, or ?
@BladeZero thought, that there would be a special "new" GeForce-Driver via Windows-Update for the leaked RTM, which would be different to the latest WHQL / Beta. From my knowledge, I can't see the reason for different drivers for the PreView and RTM as they should share the same core.
can someone show a proof that i can activate windows 8.1 pro with my legal oem key of windows 8 pro ?
