I downloaded the Win 8.1 iso from the magnet torrent mentioned here, burn it on a DVD and tried to install but couldn't. After several minutes of boot screen, following message displayed:-

"Your PC needs to be repaired
    An unexpected error has occurred.
    Error code 0xc0000001
You'll need to use the recovery tools on your installation media. If you don't have any installation media (like a disc or a usb device) contact your system administrator or PC manufacturer."

First I thought data may get corrupted during download so i download it again and done the whole process once again. But no luck, same message is coming back on the screen. Any help?

after having installed enterprise you need to activate it like all windows versions. Then you don't see a watermark

there never was such key and never will. Enterprise can be activated by KMS for large business and by using MTK when new V6 is available or you must insert Volume key which is very rare to find. If you have a MSDN or Technet pro subscription, you get such keys for example.

Can you guys do me a small favor and confirm that all your games and apps that worked in windows 8 still work fine in 8.1.

I'm seeing reports from some people that many games and apps refuse to run under 8.1 due to different api.

Saints Row IV is working fine for me. I'm using the Windows 8.1 Preview drivers from AMD. GPU: Sapphire 7950. Haven't tested other games yet.

I have seen similar messages (not identical) when the computer hardware did not meet minimum requirements. Is this an older machine? What CPU? Display adapter?

Might be a winload problem, boot from DVD/USB-FD -> repair your computer -> auto repair, see if it helps.
