The MSDN iso's might have those updates already dism-ed in, maybe with /startcompcleanup /resetbase (see prev page). It'll still be the exact same build but with updates already slipstreamed that would otherwise need to be downloaded. But it depends where the updates are for.
I've been looking for that myself - have not been able to find it. Killing twinui.dll thread in explorer.exe no longer gets rid of the watermark.
Right - I've had the same luck. Nagging Activate Windows watermark back every 3 hours. Would be nice to get rid of it until KMS V6 can be emulated.
I do believe that MS will have the Watermark decrypted as well because they know that many user didn't like to have it shown on screen!
9600.16384 with updates slipstreamed is still 9600.16384, except for the files that are updated, but windows itself will show 9600.16384. I said it depends where the updates are from. If they affect OOBE or fix bugs that the avarage user can encounter when playing around before the update is finished then then might integrate them, otherwise probably not.
Hey guys i got a question for you, so can anyone explain to me why microsoft did not changed the "vista icons" on the tratidional desktop ? Aren't these icons ugly to combine them with a new Start Screen design ?
has anybody succeded in enabling ctcp? I tried with the known windows 8 methods, it keeps showing "none"
probably because they don't give a s**t about the desktop anymore desktop is just for old people and the freaks that actually want to do more than post important stuff on facebook
My internet is awful since going to windows 8.1. Websites aren't opening and its that crap i cant even switch to a Microsoft account or download windows updates. Ive reinstalled the internet drivers but its made no difference. Another problem is my computer keeps switching off during bootup on the Windows logo screen even after turning off fast startup. Any solutions to these problems will be appreciated
Isn't this for sharing a 3G/LTE/whatever connection through wifi, so you have to be connected to a mobile data network to use it?
