I thought Microsoft did away with the full "Retail" versions in favor of the OEM/System Builder? Now it looks like the they are coming back out with them again.
They enabled the Volume stuff today. While we already had a leak, without a fully enabled kms v6 legit activator system, it's hard to test certain things like HMAC creation; whatever that is... Some things you just need to see work, and possibly capture from memory, before you get an idea of how to build one for yourself.
Thanks for the reply. Interesting to read about this kind of stuff, as I too was curious about what information today's release would bring that would help advance development of a KMS V6 emulator. How does this work, exactly? With the release of the volume versions of Windows 8.1, is it safe to assume that more companies/organizations with VLSC subscriptions will have access to KMS host keys? I know that some VLSC customers have already received KMS host keys, but would the release of volume bits indicate a wider distribution of KMS host keys?
No not realy you have to have a legit key for it Strange enough my old Enterprise 8.0 key does not work they gave me new keys on technet for installing Enterprise 8.1 version how is that for an update
