Guys I've just finished updating my legit copy of windows 8 to 8.1 through the windows store, everything seemed to be fine until it restarted and now it fails to boot with an 0xc0000225 error I guess the update messed up my MBR any idea on how to repair it? It asks for the windows DVD to attempt repairs but I haven't got a 8.1 disk
LOL ME TOOO HE GOT BURNED! and i been using mint linux a few times lately and realized that I started doing it cause i was broed and wanted a HOBBY! lol LOL HAHA!
after I upgraded my windows 8 pro with media center into 8.1 via store my office 2013 got deactivated. So, I end up putting another key. My question is how is that possible swapping the files from win8 : C:\Windows\System32\spp\store\2.0 in windows 8.1? Will it not affect the activation of the Current system (Win8.1)?
Thanks fkar. I actually came up with a solution already... it's pretty straight forward actually... now in retrospect. But the tool you recommended can be used straight away, so thank you to you too!
