    Seems the Internet is full with this kind of news:Windows 8.1 has signed-off;but until some real,those re just rumors.

    I've heard about the same thing from a Chinese OEM this morning(about 10 hours ago), that 9600.16384 is ready for sign-off, anyway, take it with a grain of salt, at least for the moment. :D

    Lets hope it's true

    I don't know why, but 23rd August (today) seems like I remember that date being important for something to do with Windows 8.1 for some reason

    Was anything announced about the 23rd for anything ?

    Most of these reports claim it's just a rumor anyway, so we should take these wit ha pinch of salt until we hear something official.

    Neowin news had said that MS planed to make final coding on Aug. 23-and RTM to follow, and a later blog said a build will be sent to OEM's for final testing in this week. If the rumor was real, then maybe the real plan is to have sign-off and send to OEM's. ... I don't know. :eek:

    NaCl dosed properly is good for the body but this RTMing puts too many pinches of that stuff into the meal .... lol
