OK so forgive me as I'm not very good with screenshot cropping or anything. Here's vmware 9.0.1 cap on an 8.0 pro install with watermark on the default resolution. Someone can do the zooming and stuff and compare the "fuziness" around the watermark letters or something... my vm cap of 8.0 pro his screenshot of 8.1 I didn't try to crop my screenshot on purpose because I totally suck at it, so you'd have to do the comparisons yourself...
It is well maybe the next guy that will post a screenshot will be a bit better in Photoshop/Paint Thanks again to Zac for pointing it out, he's a great guy (and I love his leaked Windows reviews haha).
LOL, let it go guys and have a life. I have thought about the small pic when Cleric posted it, you don't need a photoshop, and can show anything you like using resource hacker and edit the registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\CONTROL PANEL\DESKTOP - PaintDesktopVersion . Anyway, it's on every tech site, it's like Thurrott's desktop with start button, I knew it was a mock-up but then, who could do anything about it when it's on every tech site.
@Nicky31 "I exclusively revealed the RTM and build number of Windows 8.1" - gosh, this guy (Thurrott) is so arrogant and priggish in what he writes sometimes. Folks on respective sites were reporting about it, too, even if the numbers are slightly different in the end and just not backed by some insider source, they didn't need to tag themselves as exclusive publishers. Doesn't matter how exclusive it is.
