anyway 6.3.9600.16384 called GOLD, and The FINAL Should sign-off and compile as 6.3.9600.16385 not 6.3.9600.16384, same happen with Windows 7, 7sp1 & 8. 100% Trusted News: in next few hours Windows 8.1 Final Release will be leaked to the web for both 32/64bit as Torrent. Just stay tuned and soon you'll be Happy
Don't throw such news/info (talking about the leak) because my heart is not doing well and I might get a heart attack. I pray for that leak because I really need to reinstall my OS (using 9431 x86 at the moment).
It was changed due to last min fix i think, there might not be a last min fix needed with 8,1 or there could be 1 or 2 or 3 fix's needed increasing the last number each time a fix happens and its compiled again.
LOL, so much fun on the RTM guessing game...... I remember for win8, 9200.16384 has been recompiled into different editions and another tag was added, something like 9200.16384-1 (there were 6 or 7 editions), but I couldn't remember if MS had retained the time-stamp or put on a new one for the sign-off build.
