No Hard Drive Found During Vista Setup

    During the Vista Install, no Hard Drives (SATA) is found, my computer is an ACER, can anyone help?, thank you.

    You need to copy the SATA drivers to a floppy disk or USB Thumbdrive.
    When booting to the windows CD,it will say press F6 to load third party SCSCI or RAID drivers.
    Hit F6 at that point.
    It will ask for the floppy when needed. Also Check in the BIOS setup to see if the sata controller can be switched to IDE mode.
