Since August 2018, Windows XP POSReady updates require SSE2 and no such requirement is notified. The last valid updates for SSE processors were those of July 2018.
I guess every browser can be considered as safe with its javascript engine disabled (except Microsoft offerings ofc LoL). Payloads cant be delivered with only XML/html/css parsing, or at least I hope.
K-Meleon has indeed fallen behind a bit without any updates for quite a while now, which is rather sad, but Mypal has a recent update and is really very good !!
This is almost right. For most of Web, normal web sites, made by smart people, can be displayed by any modern (made from about ~10 years ago till now) browser. But if one want to deal with Google’s sites or “super-hyper-ultra-modern” sites with tons of JS, you’ll meet some troubles. Google is definitely not honest with users of WWW.
