I second the above, it is you or your network. All my Servers and Workstations are running ESS Business Edition with a local server to monitor and deploy policy to them. No issues what so ever. Everything is running on a Server 2008 R2 level domain with 7 Servers, 2 workstations, 1 router and 1 switch. No issues connecting to any of the computers, using any tools Dameware, RDP, RPC, WinRM, SMB (file and printer sharing). I just told it that 10.10.0.0 is a friendly network and no issues.
