hi, I stumbled onto this forum. Great Site!!! I'm planning to buy a Gigabyte mobo, and install Vista x64 on it. After reading thru serveral methods of activating Vista, i'm planning to use the Hard Flashing of BIOS method. Seems like a good long term solution... Can you guys advice, what do I actually need? Do I need a OEM copy of Vista? Or any copy do? Thanks in advance!
Thanks for the tips. But i'm still rather confused. I'm planning to buy the Gigabyte mobo: EP35-DS3. Its using the Award BIOS. -Where can find the cert.? -Do i need to register with the cert. and key everytime i do a clean install? -Do i need an OEM disc instead of a retail one? Or are there no difference between all the versions since there are only one kind of Vista disc? Thanks
