    Hi Guys,

    I'm new here. Nice to meet you all.

    I have a pre-activated Vista SP1 32 bit with Vista Loader 2.1.2. Used that for almost a year. And last week, I just upgraded a new mobo and processor and now, the Vista isn't working, which is quite strange.

    I use the voatktools to remove the previous Vista Loader and install the newer Vista Loader 3.0.0.1 and it's the same thing.

    I select the AMD64 in the Vista Loader 3.0.0.1. Am I doing the right thing?

    I'm using Gigabyte MA-720US3 with F3F bios.

    Any help and replies are highly appreciated.

    Yes forget the boot loaders etc...You never really know whats going on with them.

    I found this site not too long ago and figured out how to flash the BIOS with SLIC info and make a Vista OEM dvd.

    This is far better.

    Have a good look round and read some stuff.

    I have found the folk on here are always willing to help.

    :D

    Thanks for the response guys. It seems that I have to use the bios mod to activate the vista. :)

    Mod BIOS is the best way to use Vista and thanks to God that most desktop mainboard are using AWD or AMI bios which is much easier to mod than Phoenix.

    Thanks for the input guys. Finally got it sorted out using the modded bios.

    @prathaprabhu
    None of the software-type activators work for me. Thanks anyway.
