without any peculiar intervention, this disk has gone to "not intialized" status, rightclicking to initialize it as NTFS (like it was before) fails pls help edit 18:56 hrs showed up again after 3 reboot ! what can be wrong ?
Sounds like a problem with the drive or disc controller. It could also be a cable problem. That's the first place I'd look. And, as always, please post your hardware specs and the make of the drive.
