10.049 comes with a set of nvidia drivers i.e. 349.90 which cause incompatibility issues with many games, most of the time related to a physics component said to be missing. the question is: which geforce do you use ?
I'm using 350.05 here 349.90 are not good for me either no wddm 2.0 but still no dx12 games either and its running great here

if anyone is having trouble starting team fortress 2 on steam with win 10,right click the game in the game list and go to properties,click launch options and put -windowed -noborder in the box,then it will start,once in game go to options/video and you can choose your default screen resolution and it will be fullscreen,even when you restart.
