Oops... They are proved to be the same manufacturer because MELCO[*].bin and MDIT[*].bin have the same pubkey, which implies the corresponding Cert is also same. Sorry.
I guess everyone here doubts whether the disk is official , and also doubts it is so-called "preactivated" stuffs. I copied it from my friend, and it is most likely to be real recovery media. I think the OEM.exe file seems to change SLIC on some kind of mother-boads --- perhaps most of Gigabyte motherboards ; The mouse SLIC is remaining after changing to HDD with Linux , thus it is most unlikely to be methods similar to modified loader.
When I extracted SLIC by copying temporary files of BIOS modification tools, I got such strange SLICs. MSTEST[TESTONLY]2.1 Microsoft[virtual]2.0 Insyde[Insyde00] Intel[Lynninfield] Are they dummy SLIC (Doesn't the matching certs exist even if the SLIC is valid)? P.S. Wistron[biosT]
@nk2919 MSTEST[TESTONLY]2.1: (AFAIK, it should be 2.0) Sample SLIC binary as discussed in OA 2.0 documentation. No cert is provided. Microsoft[virtual]2.0: Included in Hyper-V - technically full SLIC, but no cert available. Insyde[Insyde00]: Header only, found in many Insyde firmware. Intel[Lynninfield]: Header only, found in many older Intel firmware. AMI[ALASKA]: Header only, found in many AMI Aptio firmware.
