Can anyone post a OEM Certificate xrm-ms file that goes with the Siemens Simatic .bin files I have an old HMI with a valid 2.1 SLIC cert in the BIOS, but i don't have a xrm-ms to go with it and/or how would i go about finding the required file I assume it must be on recovery DVD's or something ?, anyone got any hints what i should be looking for file wise? thanks
We have yet to find a valid Siemens Simatic certificate. If you've access to a factory-installed Vista/7 instance, then you can manually dump the certificate from the tokens.dat file or use SLIC ToolKit to do the same. For the recovery media, you might need to look inside the $OEM$ folder.
@scumeth Thanks a lot! Any chance you can dump the OEM:SLP key from the Windows instance/recovery media as well? To answer your question, @FreeStyler should be able to include it next time he updates the SLIC+cert archive.
Hi, wide web divers, may I ask you. 1a) does oem slic work for win 11 and 10 ? ..1b) for gpt or mbr or both ? 2a)Is there a slic injector for boot sector or bootloader (.exe or ...) for gpt and mbr (if there is; most likely they are different) ? .2b)if there is where can i find it or an analogue to it ? ...(with asus and msi in mind) PM if that's something not allowed to share thru forum. 1a) No. Windows Vista Business/Enterprise (2.0+), Server 2008 (2.0+), Windows 7 Professional/Enterprise (2.1+), Server 2008 R2 (2.1+), Server 2012 (2.2+), Server 2012 R2 (2.3+), Server 2016 (2.4+), Server 2019 (2.5+), Server 2021 (2.6+) and the next Server most probably probably, too (2.7+). Since Windows 8, no client OS support OEM:SLP anymore. 1b) SLIC is in the BIOS or UEFI. It doesn't depend on the partition style. 2a) Windows Loader for MBR, and EZWindSLIC for GPT. But the best solution is a modded BIOS/UEFI. 2b) Check the "MDL Projects and Appplications" forum, and its subforums.
