OA 2.x SLIC & OEM Certificate Collection

It seems Dell has retracted and pulled all of their BIOS updates for the 14th Gen (R940/R540/T340/etc.) servers with SLIC 2.7. However, all of the BIOS for 15th Gen (R950/R550/T350/etc.) servers with 2.7 are still there. I wonder if Dell realized they screwed up by adding SLIC 2.7 to the previous gen servers when, historically, they only add new SLIC to whatever their current models are.

Hopefully, it's a fluke and they will repost those new BIOS updates. But if not, I sure hope Dell users downloaded what they needed before those files were removed.

Total NOOB and heard first time about BIOS MODs and SLIC

I have HP Z240 Tower Workstation. BIOS Version N51, ver 01.74, 12/4/2018, SLIC v 2.1

I want to have it updated to SLIC 2.7 to work with Server 2025.

Questions:
1 - Should I upgrade the BIOS to latest available? maybe that can update the SLIC version
2- Is something already available for Z240 workstation? I have tried to google search but cant find anything.
3- Which thread to use, to provide all the details and RW Report?

Looks to me like a default slic maker. dell - dell hp - hp etc.
