Sometime ago i made a oem disc per instructions found here,after burning it i installed it but the screen where you have to type in your cd key never came up,after the install windows reported it was activated. After trying it for a few weeks i went back to xp,now i just bought a new video card i wanted to try it out with dx10 so i went for the vista disc i made but i was unable to find it,so i burnt another one the same way now when installing it asks for the cd key so i put the one that i burnt onto the cd,after the install windows reports that its activated ,i just wanted to know if it matters if it asks for the key or not.
