In fact, I changed the numbering from 4.0.9 to 4.1.0 due to the new recovery option.

Firest, did you used the "Full image" or the "Push-Button" option.

Alos, it failed when restoring the image from USB or frmon local partition ?

Also, you used My Tools (the one with a Hard Disk logo) to create the USB drive or the RecoveryImages.exe Tools from Windows ?

    This will not works.

You must select the FIRST option "Reinstall Windows".

The "Repair Windows" should be used only to :
    - Access command prompt
    - Fix boot problem
    - Revert to previous Windows snapshot

I decided to offer the "repair" option as a bonus fonction. I can remove it if it confuse users.

BTW, there is a way to make this option to works.

    You haver to add :
    Code:
    <RestoreFromIndex>1</RestoreFromIndex>

    in the "ResetConfig.xml" file.

But, doing that will allows you to reinstall Windows but the computer will not have the "full image" anymore on it.

Still, you should be able to do "psuh-button reset" locally.

    I will try.

I used your 4.1.0 on Windows 10 v1709 x64 UEFI it's working also did a full system restore via local did not try USB yet. Since local is working do I even need to try USB? I figured if local worked, USB should as well?

    Local always worked.

The reason behind 4.1.0 (compared ot 4.0.8) is the fact that creating a recovery usb key once the computer was already reastored from local option may not works.

The net version 4.1.0 allows the creation of a new kind (custom made compared to Microsoft solution) to allow full restore. The usb creation should works even is the computer was restore with local restore option.

A lot of the Notebooks ship with a factory image still. I've noticed however that when MS release a new upgrade this tends to stuff up access to the factory image through WinRE.
ex, 1703 upgraded to 1709. When you go into RE, the menu option to restore factory image is there but if you select it, it runs MS Dart instead.

I hope Im not retarded or anything..

#1 First of all I get you'd need alot of detailed info but how about making a smaller easier to read & follow?
#2 During setup I cant run "Diskpart /S D:\filename.txt" If I remove " " it says "no disk is selected"-ish OR nothing happens
#3 In Audit mode: After doing my changes i run "install.cmd" It fails at some point (Missing files) but keeps working and window closes
#4 Sysprep.cmd cant run beacuse its missing files

Ok. Now, the new beta for 4.1.0 should allows you to use both method for recovery.

If using the main incon (Reinstall Windows), Windows will be reinstalled and the files needed to created recovery media will be copied back on the computer.

If reinstalling from "Repair my computer", Windows will be reinstalled but the recovery files (full image) won't be copied back on the computer. Push-Button will still works. Great for saving space.
