I would like to add an instruction manual for the end user in the Windows 10 tools in a "local web page" format that can be launched for the tools menu. I am not really good in HTML, even less with CSS and this kind of stuff. Anyone could recommend me a good template (more choice better than only one) that I could use for the instruction manual? I will make it both in French and English. The template should be free and with the right of being redistributed in commercial way (since maybe some company are using my tools on their computer). Any clues?
I just fixed the anchor thigs. Was not working with Chrome. Had to replace the version of some jQuery script included in the template by newer version. Bummer.
Well, the documentation is nearly completed in english! 2 more section and then I will start with french!
Wow. I took a look at the date of my first post. 10 years! 10 years I am working on that project. 10 years and some of you are with me since days one! Thinking about you @tcntad ! I am curious to know how you are using my tools all. For yourself? for your familly? Friends? You put it on your personal/job clien'ts computer? I never asked I think. About time
I have completed the end-user documentation in english. To may take a look with the same URL as my previous post. What do you think?
Thanks! Now, if somene (which English his is mother tongue) would like to correct it, I would be verry happy!
Thanks AnarethoS. I have been using your recovery software for 7 yrs now. I just grabbed the beta 2 and will do some tests. Since my warranty has now expired on my computer I can set it up as I wish. I will be testing this very soon. Great work as usual.
I cant remember if you asked me at all I used it for family pc's mostly beacuse at the time I didnt use Deployment Toolkit or had a laptop so it was super smooth having your tool) To be honest I have used it live in awhile like I used to, I believe its installed on my exgf's laptop tho just in case I still love your tool and once I get to know it better through documentation (Im alittle "retarded") along with trial and error I'll keep using it!
I will have to slow down a little bit in the following days. Medical issues. I have to undergo a surgery next week which will affect one of my hand for a few days. Still, I should survive and continue after
Ok. Back at home. Damn salami and pepperoni! Don't eat too much of them. They have a bad effects on your arteries. I started to work on the french translation/rewrite of the end-user/online documentation in the Windows 10 part. Once completed I will do a bunch of final tests for all environnements. Any one tried the beta version ? Any problems with it ?
Hi dear friend @AnarethoS I hope you and yours be ok in first place. And also your hands...lol I download the beta1 right now and the first thing I had to say is that the Bitdefender Endpoint Security Tools Advanced for Business showed me this message right after the download is complete: "Antimalware: December 15th, 10:47 AM On-Access analysis detected a threat. The file has been quarantined.D: \ Users \ SSI.TechLab \ AppData \ Roaming \ IDM \ DwnlData \ SSI.TechLab \ RecoveryTools5.0.0Be_104 \ RecoveryTools5.0.0Be.exe is malware of type Gen: Variant.Graftor.840038 " As I know your files are taken as false positives I added the same as an exception to my BEST security settings. I will test it later, and give you feedback. Another detail, I did not find the link to the documentation you referred to in a previous post, could you please indicate this link to me? I would also like to know if it would be appropriate to make a translation into pt-BR language, which I propose to help, if it is your intention to do so. Best Regards. @JeepWillys58 PS: I love salami and pepperoni too! In order not to have problems with them it is enough that you make the appropriate replacement of chelated Magnesium, the problems in the arteries, joints and other parts of the body are due to the lack of magnesium, as it is he who regulates the calcium cycle and 385 more glandular processes in our body, including the thyroid ...
