I completed a revision of my instruction manual. I still have some correction to do. I am also retesting a full reployment on NVME+SATA scenarion (the new stuff) in Windows 10 in VmWare to be sure everything is OK. Final version 5.0.0 should be there before the end of the week.
And there we go! 5.0.0 is out. See main post or my web site for DL link. - No more compiled EXE but rather use interpreted AutoIT script. No more false positive for Windows 8/8.1/10 - Scanstate files are removed from the client computer (Windows 10) once capture is completed as it is no more required - Support for NVME+SATA combo (install on disk 0, 1 or 2 depenting of settings files used). Target drive can be specified during restore (full image) - Online HTML documentation for the end-user in French and English for Windows 10 - Removed the "App updates" script for Windows 10. Was not workign correctly and since Scanstate files are removed, it can't work anymore - New splash screen image for all version by default
Mmm. I think I must be missing something really obvious. Version 5.0.0 is asking for a password. I've gone through previous posts & the documentation but no joy. If someone could point me in the right direction I would be most grateful. Thanks
when you execute the EXE (not trying to unpack it with winrar or other) there is a text box with some informations. The password is in it. Anyway .... it is : I AGREE all caps, 1 space
Apologies for delay in responding. Preparation for England coming out of lockdown on Monday & being able to earn a Pound or two again. Anyway. Thankyou so much for the password. Box is definitely blank. I'm wondering if it's an Anti-Virus thing. It flags up under extraction also but no problem I just accept to continue. I'm using Avast! Also a chance to thankyou for your great software. I'm a long term user. must be a decade now I think. Proved to be a real lifesaver. Your work is really appreciated. Thanks again. Stuart
