Thaks all for your comments. For the capture time, I doubled-checked and the capture process is only run once. Also, there is no easy way to "hide" the "Please Wait image". Here is the "old way" (before Progress Indicator) -AutoIt Script hide the main windows and show the "Please Wait" image -AutoIt Script call a CMD (bacth) file that start IMAGEX (with other stuff) -When the script complete, AutoIt show back the menu Here is the "new way" (new Progress Indicator) -AutoIt Script hide the main windows and show the "Please Wait" image -AutoIt Script call a CMD (bacth) file that start another AutoIt script that start IMAGEX with the progrss indicator. When the capture/apply process complete, the rest of the original CMD (bacth) file is executed. -When the script complete, AutoIt show back the menu To hide the "Plase wait" message, I would have to move everyhing from my CMD (batch) script into AutoIt, an I don't want to do that (too much time to retest averything after, etc.) Also, please note that the progress indicator CAN NOT be translated. I hardcoded the english strings in it. Anyone can understand theses simple english string. Also, making it translatable, I would have to wait for the new settings.ini from everyone or push a new version everytime someone will add this translation. I a version 3 has to come to life, I will make it translatable
Yes, the XML will let you chose which version of Windows to install. The "tag" for HomePremieum is there because the XML file was originaly done for that version.
207 Beta 1 works fine, sure im using another av then NIS but ill download and scan.. Edit: Avira antivir says its all green, try scan with virustotal.com
Well we can trust Anarethos anyway His previous releases are perfect. Maybe he has a clue to why NIS reacts to 2.0.7..
Oh, I'm sure he wouldn't purposefully introduce anything bad into it, either. I figure whatever he packaged it with is the culprit. That's happened often enough with other things. Maybe that had an upgrade and is why there's a difference in behavior with my AV.
I packaged it with WinRar. My EXE file in it are packaged with AutoIt2Exe, using UPX to compress the EXE. I found that some AV tag UPX compressed file as virus. In the next release, I will not compress the EXE.
Dude this is amazing, so helpful since I have friends and family that their PCs always break down. Thanks a bunch!
Oyeah this tool is real nice! Too bad i cant fully test it. Im too f****** poor! Ill have to charge ppl i help
Why? Simply put a password on the recovery tools. When the computer broke, bring it back to home, boot into recovery tools, enter the password and re-install. Then, charge 80% of your regular price
Im too poor, my computer suck and im jobless.. They are bringing their crap to my place hehe. Only 80% oO
Nah, I meant : 1- When they bring the computer the first time, Install Windows 7, creator the recovery partition WITH a password. Delete the icon to launch recovery tools from Windows. Charge full price. 2- When they come back (virus, home-made time-bomb, etc.), boot into the recovery partition, restore. Take 3 time less time. Charge again (maybe less, or not, up to you) 3- Enjoy your money
