    Hmm ok now im trying to install it in vmware and see wether it works, i had installed applications like MSoffice 2007, roxio creator 2011, realplayer,winrar, thats the only application i installed,

    I created 4 partitions. my HDD is 500gb

    1 recovery Size= 12gb
    2 system Size= 300mb
    3 windows Size=100gb
    4 data Size=rest

    And changed setings in ini to USBDVDWipe to 0

    so did i make any mistake in this and one thing i wanted to ask the recovery partion size should only be 12gb or it can be more.

    1st off, thank you for this tool. I've been looking for something to do sysprep and recovery. We are about to start changing out systems at work and finally moving away from XP and now going to Win 7. I do have one question, I followed the videos posted in the 1st post. And not it seems all my OEM branding is gone. The installation is still oem genuine, but there are no longer any Dell logos. Did I miss a step somewhere?

    Well Im using searchengines autoactivating script, it may not work 100% so what you can do is edit OOBE.cmd, remove the last lines where it says "del" etc, save and close it and finally run it.
    But you wont see logos etc in Audit mode as far as I know.

    Hi, I am new in this forum. I have one question, sorry if here is not the right place.
    I have toshiba laptop and it was formatted with retail dvd and recovery partition was deleted (I haven't made recovery media). Can I use recovery media of the same toshiba model and will it be genuine?

    @TAVIRUNI
    Thanks for the Spanish translation. I will try to add it to my package maybe by the end of the week or next week. Have some university stuff do to first.

    @DIRK2512
    Thanks for your PM with the information abec the Samsung stuff.
    I will look into your tools. I juste hope this software don't use a custum made bootloader since my software rewrite the bootloader from the recovery partition when required (and needed while using USB/DVD restore medium) and that require a 64bits version of the software available, otherwise I won't be able to use it.

    I will let you know.

    @TCNTAD
    Damn! Your are now the official tech support for my tool as I can see :D Thanks for your help and your time!

    Good new. I may have found a way to enable booting into the recovery environment by pressing a key during the boot process.

    I have a lot of testing to do first. I will let you know.

    @PKTMAN and @DIRK2512

    Thanks! But I will go another way. In fact, my "Recovery Tools" will replace the standard "Recovery Environment" from Windows 7. There will be 4 way to access them

    1) From within Windows, by launching my tools
    2) By pressing F7 at boot. This will launch the recovery tools automatically
    3) By pression F8 at boot and select "Repair my computer"
    4) By pressing F8 at boot then pressing ESC and selection the "Recovery Tools" option near the "Memory tester" option.

    I am working on that now....

    hello
    your project are really great congratulations for your work
    j ai read on the forum that you chercher improve your project why not make it simple
    much like the PC manufacturer
    begin the recovery partition by keystroke example alt + f12
    create an image factory dvd failback by script
    creation of a winpe with the tools of your recovery program that accesses the recovery partition if windows crash
    I know it takes a lot of work still cheer and thank you for the work you give us plainement satisfied I am France

    Well we stated earlier that using F buttons with earlier versions doesnt work (I think) and its not needed when you have F8 option.
    And if you read, he is working real hard on a new version with 4 options to enter recovery tools..

    I wanted to report back that the OEM branding does stay. My 1st attempt must have messed up somewhere. I created a setup in VMWare. I did the os install for the oem systems I am working with (Dell) and then installed all the apps I wanted in my image. Made other changes to the system setup that I wanted, like changing the default user.bmp. However I did run into another issue. I changed the Windows theme to one that my company tends to use on our systems for rollout. The problem is that after creating the recovery and sending the image to a usb or dvd to use for moving to another system, it not only doesn't keep the modified theme (it actually changes back to the default Windows 7 theme) but it also makes it to where you can not save a theme after you use the image to reinstall.

    I don't know if I'm again doing something wrong. Course I don't know if setting up a custom default theme in audit mode is actually a good idea or not.
