why we can download office 2010 RTM ?

it is still in beta stage, why there are RTM for us to download?

 

The RTM was leaked by Wzor a while before it was formally released to the public. As of now it has been released to partners and manufacturers alike hence he leaked the Volume copy and then the retail copy when it became available later....

 

Office 2010 Build 4760

Both the first x64 link in the office downloads thread, and MS's official office x64 trial version, have the version # 14.0.4760.1000. Does this mean that neither MDL nor MS is giving out the actual RTM version of office? Or is there some errata I'm not aware of?

(Also, wtf is a "select" edition? I have never heard of it before, and the only google results are torrents)

 

This has been explained with some threads here and there. The office 2010 Version numbers are not the same whether you look by right clicking each application in the program files or by just looking in the about section in each application. The real and most definitive answer your looking for is in the uninstall section of the control panel which will tell you what version of office 2010 is being run. In that case its version 14.0.4763.1000 not 14.0.4760.1000 as that was a RTM escrow build but pretty much they combined all the finished products into one big installer which we know as Office 2010 that should answer your question....

Also the reason its only in torrents is that the formal office 2010 retail copy has yet to be released cause it comes out in June where as we can get the volume copy right now cause Wzor leaked it. Pretty much expect it to be all torrents or parts there of until a real legit copy is out and I mean a store bought and uploaded version.

My personal MAK key doesnot accepted anymore.
