Office 2007 opens in read-only mode

    hi,

    i tried to follow the instructions on this article - Hack to Activate Microsoft Office 2007 Evaluation Trial Version.

    it worked for a day.

    now, every app i try to open (word, excel, ppt, etc) would open in a read only mode.

    i cannot even make a new doc anymore

    what could be the problem?

    please help

    What article?

    Might you provide a link to the specific article to which you are referring (there are several)?

    Is your copy 2007, 2007 SP1, or 2007 SP2?
