I am not fully aware but i guess there is differece between the version available through the link mentioned and one available on technet. Maybe issue because of that
The place where you paste mso.dll is C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE12... It will ask you to replace the file. Say yes. Then replace everything eith zero's, and you're done.
Thanks BRYANM0NS & Ruixituh for your replies. @BRYANM0NS: Had seen that blog & was keeping it as one of the resorts but it worked out before that. @Ruixituh: Yup, exactly that the right location for mso.dll; figured that out but still it din't work. Had to work around with another crack.
After the first set of updates, have started getting this message; Unable to use any Office application.
