Well I ran my hack the whole day, no cpu spikes detected, so I can't fathom what could cause it on your rig.

 

i dont know if it was your hack or not man, could of been nvidia's video drivers , i update to the new beta ones that day to

Had been annoying me too not being able to install it!

 

Hello, I can't uninstall the beta 2 after using SoLor's hack. IT says the program might have already been uninstalled... What should I do?

 

that hack removes (some) registry entrys for installer, so office doesnt try to repair removed OPP files. Easyest way is to reinstall old office from scratch and then you can uninstall it. Or just install new build over (if its possible, didnt test this one).

Thank you. Basically, I managed to uninstall it by re-running the Beta 2 installer from the DVD (odd thing it detected the installation, no?). Overwriting BETA 2 with the Public Beta also seems like a possible solution. I am currently installing the public beta and will report here if I have any issues.

I've tryed ...but doesn't work. The message in the cmd box is: "Error the sistem was unable to find the specified key or value"
and thats all.
Any idea what to do? I have Vista.
