Really a great work, will test it shortly...
What about "Office Customization Tool",will this add the Admin folder too?
I'm not shure, but I think that tool is included in the admin folder, so you need the folder first to get the tool.
Will this work with languages other than English?
Yes, that tool is inside Admin folder. I think pkaji123 was asking if converting from retail to volume, will your tool add that folder to the iso as well?
Yes, it only touches the ProPlus.WW folder which is lang neutral, I tested it myself with english and dutch and both without problems
Works fine,we have to add the Admin folder manually to get the customisation tool.
Nice app works fine for my volume to retail copy.
I have an Office 2010 Pro Plus Spanish Retail "X16-32273.exe" file
Using the EZ Activator by CODYQX4 I couldn't activate it after 10 tries, and after using this "To Volume" converter I had it activated the fisrt time with the same EZ Activator.
Stannieman you rock!! (and letsgoawayhell too)
I think you originally had retail installed, that's why it didn't work with EZ Activator (kms).
@ others: the admin folder is not included cause I think that would bring it to far. It's strictly designed to convert activation channels and it won't ever do more (unless I change my mind).
Thanks for the positive reactions!
Ho Stannie and thanks for your utility
I tried to convert Retail to Volume and it seems to work fine (I didn't installed it yet).
Just two questions:
- Is it possible to generate .exe file instead of .iso if source file is .exe?
- After conversion, Office setup doesn't ask for serial during setup anymore, is it right?
Yes I had retail. But I converted it to volume with a batch file found here @ MDL and office didn't ask for a key after that, but still couldn't activate it in that moment.
It should be possible to make your own exe when you select "add additional files/folders" and make an sfx zip/rar/whatever of the folder with setup.exe set to run after extraction. But because this isn't the real MS way I decided to leave this out for now.
And the 2nd question: yes it's all ok, a volume office doesn't require a key. A default kms key is included and almost all kms activated office 2010 suits in the world use that same key for activation. MS itself included the key in the volume files, so it's 100% original.
Thanks for your reply
since I got an original volume key from the company I'm working for, how can I use it to legally activate my Office 2010 without cracks/patches?
Is this key a MAK key or a KMS key?
As with all other great pieces of software for office 2010 this will be added to the repo...
along with a link to this thread...
Yes. That should do it.
Very nice Stannieman. This definitely looks like a useful program you got here.
Thanks a lot. Works seamlessly and 100% successful in converting proplus retail to volume iso. Useful if one has downloaded the pro plus retail version from MS. However, have not installed it since I already have office 2010 select volume. But will definitely try the converted file on another image soon.
Does it work on Visio?
Works like a charm on RTM file. Thanks. Makes a great tool in conjunction with EZ activator from CODYQX4
