Yes use check additional files/folders and when the windows upens use Code: CDIMAGE.EXE -OC -J1 -U1 -lOFFICE14 "path to files you want in the iso" "iso file to create" @ Yany, I supports standard, but I'll check with your spicific files
Thank you. Both Microsoft Office 2010 Standard English from here: X16-32361.exe and X16-32324.exe ProPlus works fine.
It's a bug and wil be fixed today EDIT: Ok it's updated! I typed 64 instead of 32 in 2 places in the code. This caused x64 conversion sub to run on x86 versions (which of course fails), and nothing to run with x64 versions.
I've decided not to add any major features anymore. This doesn't mean however that I completely abandon the project. If there are bugs found I will fix them, and if there's found a volume version for products like Office Home and Student, then I will include support for channel switching. If it's not to hard then I will include a slipstream option for servicepacks too. The major features I'm talking about are support for language packs and proofing tools. There doesn't seem to be much demand for it, and it requires again some structural changes in the program. The reason for this is that I want to take more time to learn C, and help a bit with other projects. I see myself more as a freelance developer who doesn't stick years to one project. To accomplish this I make the sourcecode of the latest version (1.4.1) public, so if anyone is interested and wants to add functionality by himself, he can do that without any problems. If I fix any bugs in the future, the source code here will be updated to that version also. It's a VB.NET project made in Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate. If you make any changes to the code or make your own version of the program, please send me a message, just to let me know. If you've any advice according to my coding style, please feel free to tell me (I think for example that I'm using way more "try - end try" statements than needed). The code: MD5: 3E574364841208FE84BE44034A53861F SHA-1: 819B4A0BA47ABCA3C38507EE0FDC2B4612875D31 This hashes are hashes of the rar file, nof of the files inside the rar.
Ok Download of the Office 2010 Installer Channel Switcher.exe 1.4.1. Used for to switch my "it_office_professional_plus_2010_x86_516138.exe" Office14 - OfficeProPlusMSDN - Retail to the channel VL iso: Office2010_64_PP_VL.iso All ok - tankyou for your attention.
No, I don't like that the links are removed. I think it has something to do with chillingeffects.org. C'mon anonymous, ddos that s**t!
@Stannieman, Thanks for your share. By the way, Are there any ways to switch Retail to VL by doing manually ??? If yes, Would you mind tell me how to do it ? Thanks in advance.
Each office Install is build up from a folder with language neutral install files, and folders with langpacks for each program. You just have to replace the retail version of the lang neutral folder with the volume version of that particular edition. There are/were volume isos from wzor available with the retail files, I took the files from there (and some other sources for the more rare programs). The big disadvantage of this method is that most of the space in the folder is taken up by 1 or 2 big cab files, and only the last bytes are different between retail and volume. So you'll waste a lot of space by downloading the files. The channelswitcher only changes that last bytes and only changes the other files that are actually different between activation channels.
Could anybody translate these sources not to require .NET? I would like to run it on Wine so it will be great if somebody translate them to clear C++
I don't know any other lang than vb.net propperly, so someone else would have to do that. But It may be possible to use thinstall, I think then the required .net components are in the exe thinstall makes. This way it runs in wine.
@Stannieman A small typo in the first post... under Supported Products, it should be InfoPath* instead of nfoPath*
