It appears that they don't include lync afterall. I thought the sp1 integrated MSDN isos here on MDL have lync included (as said in the description), but they haven't. More is that except for the updates folder all files are identical to RTM, so the problems must be something else.
Nice app. Didn't had any problems with converting MSDN iso retail to Vl Office Professional Plus 2010 with Service Pack 1 (x86 and x64) - DVD (Dutch) nl_office_professional_plus_2010_with_sp1_x86_x64_dvd_731121.iso
Nice tool. Yes the VL setup doesn't ask for any key, a KMS key is installed by default You can change it after for a MAK or just activate it against a KMS server
After changing edition from retail to VL, i installed the new VL iso. However, there is still a "Product activation required" message in the Help screen. How do i activate? Or can this be safely ignored? Sorry if this has been already asked, thank you for your reply.
A vl edition still needs te be activated. You can do this with KMS, there are a few tools in the MDL Project and Applications forum.
Thanks for your reply. I have tried the office 2010 toolkit to activate and it is successful. The toolkit also says that i have 180 days before i need to reactivate, is this normal and do I need to re-do every 180 days? And sorry if this is the wrong thread to ask this question, thanks for your reply.
That's normal, kms only activates for 180 days. It's meant for companies who have a kms server (emulated by the kms keygen). Every pc with office on it needs to connect to that server at least once each 180 days. You could look at it as a rearm but with 180 days instead of 30, but with that difference that the license status with KMS is activated and not grace.
Hi, I just used this great application on MSDN Retail ISO integrated with SP1 (office pro plus + visio premium + proj professional) I chose retail channel only and created the single ISO. To my surprise, I found that project and visio SP1 files were missing in the updates folder of the merged ISO file. Note that individual ISO files had SP1 files in their respective ISO files. It's only in the combined ISO generated by the tool, updates folder contains SP1 files from Office only and not from Proj or Visio. Can someone please help?
x17-75238 I have just downloaded the office professional plus x17-75238 from digital river and it says that the product is not valid? Any chance that you might know why? Thanks
I'll do that. It was now on datafilehost which is considered pretty reliable for this kind of things though.
