your link is still no go The file you requested (id a95c6ff5) does not exist. It might have been deleted due to inactivity (no downloads) or due to not complying with our terms. give FileDen a go, gives you direct file downloads you gont get much space with an account but ideal for small projects i use it a lot to post stuff, people dont have to visit another page or wait
Yes yes I know the links are down, but I'll reup a version with an sp1 bug fixed today. I'll sign it too if you want. Though you must know that I visit MDL every day so if my account gets hacked, the first thing I'll do is send a mail to lock my account or at least this thread.
You ARE lucky cause I'm uploading 1.4.3 right now And it's going slow... During the last term I'll learn C++ at school. If Office 15 uses the same installer structure and and channel switching is possible then I'll probably rewrite the channel switcher completely in C++ with the programming skills I have by then (and now already partially) + support for Office 15.
Well, I can´t download the Channel Switcher. Is there another way to convert retail in volume licensing? Thanks!
You can use the office toolkit if you already installed office. I'll check the downloadlinks (again...) EDIT: links are alive...
hi Stannieman only a question i've converted 5 times with your latest tool 1.4.3 my office sp1 x86_x64 and every time i've had an Iso with crc32, MD5 , SHA-1 differents why? thanks in advance
acrsn is correct, the files in the iso are the same. The timestamps of those files hawever are not, but are also saved in iso, resulting in a different hash. I could maybe change the timestamps too, but I don't think timestamps all skus are the same, so I'd need to keep timestamps for all skus. That's kind of stupid, cause the only thing that can be accomplished with that is to get original MSDN hashes, but when you add additional files or merge skus the hashes won't ever match MSDN hashes. So it's too much work for that 1% extra perfection. @ CODYQX4: No office files in the program, only the signatures (last x bytes) of the cab file for each product, retail and volume, and some xml files that hold parameters for the installer. Also 7zip but that isn't a problem as I nicely say it in the credits part as required by the author. But first it was on megaupload and mediafire. Both links got removed and I got a list on MU what other files were removed from other people. It was a long list and probably requested by MS cause there were also other MS things. I re-upped the files and everything went ok untill... Suddenly my links were removed in the post with the message that they needed to be removed by chillingeffects.org. So it must have been an admin or mod who edited my post, without letting me know afterwards either. This time the links were still alive though. The takedown also came from MS this time. Then someone recommended me datafilehost, so from then I always used datafilehost, untill... 2 weeks ago, when the files got removed from datafilehost... I have no idea why, cause daz loader and other activators for any program never go down and I think my program is less "evil" then those. I'll always re-up it anyway, that's not the problem, but I'd like to know WHY it always gets removed.
Can I request a feature addition here? Will you be able to create a setup that allows for multiple installations? For example: I have created AIO ISO file with SP1 versions of Office, Project and Visio. I would like to install all 3 (obviously one after another). However, in the current version, i have to manually invoke each setup, enter serial and choose options and then install. Would it be possible to change this behavior to 1. Select to install 3 suites 2. Ask serial numbers beginning only 3. When you have sufficient data, automatically install all suites.. Cheers.
@Stannieman: If you got a chillingeffects.org notice, then Microsoft filed a DMCA complaint against the files claiming that they allow circumvention of their copyright. Which is debatable, because your pack doesn't allow that by itself.
@ poor dude: you can menually do that with the add additional files/folders option. About the DMCA thing, I know, and because I don't activate it I wonder why they took this down and not the office toolkit for example. @ kandurak. Filling in multiple keys at the beginning and installing 3 suites at once isn't an option of the office setup program. Remember that I don't alter any official files and I won't hack anything in the future to make such a things possible (which is pretty impossible actually). Ok I do alter files but the altered form is the same as the volume or retail for of MS so it's not really altered afterall. For your thing you may want to look at an unattended install (google it). If it's not directly possible, make a batch file that changes the unattended file between each install. So play with unattended files and batch files until you got the desired result, if you're what you want is possible at all.
Unsuccessful conversion I am using the latest version of channel switcher for converting Office 2010 Pro Plus with SP1 x86_x64 Retail iso to VLK. After a few minutes, an iso file was created but the file size was 0 byte. I have tried a few times but still have the same 0 byte. Search through the forum but unable to find any similar problems or solution. Anyone can offer some solution? Happy 2012 Everyone and Thank for all your support.
It always runs as admin. I know that cdimage creates an empty file if you try to make an iso of an empty directory, but I don't know why it tries to do that. What file do you start with? Is it clean?
Hi, I have a untouched msdn release for Select version of Office 2010 RTM. Converting to Volume version with your application creates a ISO file that is not activated by default when you install it. I must to use additional tool to activate? TIA
