I run the channel switch as admin. It requested for an iso file which I have downloaded from this forum. I point it directly to the iso file which show 2.5GB. When I run it, a few minutes later, an iso file was created but it was 0 byte. The file is clean and I am able to fully extracted it.

I have tried using the extracted file but the channel switcher won't work with an iso file. Hence, I have no idea where else I did not carried out correctly. Hence, some suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

Uhm, what can you extract from it? If it's 0 bytes then it's empty, not even a filesystem...

My apology, I did not stated it clearly. I extracted the 2.5GB file not the 0 byte.

I transfer the file to another harddrive (more hard disk space) and tried again. It's working. I tried for the second time to confirm it. Yes, it had converted successful. An installation show that all is working and is VLK.

    Thank you, Stannieman and everyone.

    no ISO file....

    Hello Stannieman!!

I've just tried to turn my copy of OFFICE 2010 PROFESSIONAL PLUS (ENG) with SP1 RETAIL x 86 x64 DVD (see details below) to a VL version so as to skip the activation process via Key Serial.

OFFICE 2010 PROFESSIONAL PLUS (ENG) with SP1 RETAIL & VL Edition Fully Activated

    SHA-1: EAB2DB67774DA3A8136A38AECEF6AB8A2D365DEB

But, at the end of the process, your marvellous tool has shown me the following message, leaving on my desktop a folder of 2.48 GB containing the entire working directory:

"Could not successfully create the ISO image. The installation files however are 100% valid and can still be used, so the working directory will not be removed."

So the question is: do you know why your app was not able to create an ISO file ??

You know, I'd like to burn the VL edition on a (bootable) DVD but can I do it now by creating an ISO image on my own, using Img Burn for instance??

Can't wait to hear from you!!

    Hi Stannieman

The rar files I downloaded from the two sources in your first post all have the same hash but different from the ones you provided(see below for what I got), has the file been modified?

    MD5: 8fc5829566924f200c070508f3bdedf4
    SHA-1: 7e45cb7d53df75aca2f4050bf7c607e9c517b279
    CRC32: 430b51da

    Thank you so much.

The hashes are from the exe.

    @ giovy77: I'll have a look

Thanks for your prompt reply, Stannieman
hashs from the 1st post of yours:
The file name I downloaded is "O2K10ICS143.zip", not a .rar file, and hashs from this .zip file:
    MD5: 8fc5829566924f200c070508f3bdedf4
    SHA-1: 7e45cb7d53df75aca2f4050bf7c607e9c517b279

hashs from the .exe inside the .zip file:
    MD5: 18e930088962b60ed6ac30c5f17d2ab6
    SHA-1: 28db5572c087feeb9aebc105f3dcf8fe61392041

    So, it seems no matchs.

Exactly the same thing happens to me, a 0 byte iso file. Tried 7 times, all with the same end result.

    Any ideas?

I finally got it working. Just in case anyone else has the same issue you need a good chunk of free hard drive space for it to complete. Mine was too low at only 4GB free. As soon as I freed up some space it worked.

    @ Stannieman

I tried to turn the ITALIAN version of OFFICE 2010 PROFESSIONAL PLUS (ENG) with SP1 RETAIL (see details below) into VL using your tool but once again I've got the same mocking message at the end of the conversion:

"Could not successfully create the ISO image. The installation files however are 100% valid and can still be used, so the working directory will not be removed."

Any idea what causes this problem??

Do you know if I can create a ISO file on my own from the working directory created by your SW and then burn it on a DVD??

Thanks for all the hard work, I've got mine working a treat now.

(I had some of the issues above, but I looked at the hashes for my files and found that one of them was incorrect. I deleted archive 8, redownloaded it and all was then fine)

Is there anywhere else that I can download these files from?

The links on the 1st post do not currently work ... "no such file" + "File Removed for Violation" ...

    I'll correct the hashes.
And sorry but I haven't had the time to look at the other problems.

@ giovy77: when you check the add additional files checkbox under advanced settings you can do anything you like with the converted files (including copying them to where you like) right before it tries to make an iso.

AND ARE YOU f**kING KIDDING ME!!! MEDIAFIRE LINKS ARE DOWN DUE TO DMCA TAKEDOWN, FOR THE f**kING 3TH TIME!
What's illegal about this damn thing? Copyright for a couple of xml files that are in it? Or that I use cdimage? Or the fact that I have the last x bytes of every cab file in it? Comon...

I'll post new link in the first post if I have the time tomorrow. About the hashes, they were correct, you were looking at the ones of the source code ;)
