Before I start, I realise that 99% of the errors with KMS server not found are due to virus software. On this host I've uninstalled both Vipre and MBAM and still having issues.

    I've also disabled the firewall.

I have a legit MS licensed VL copy of Office Standard. We also have a heap of PKC codes. My thoughts were to use the local KMS server to activate Office Standard on each machine rather than having to deal with a heap of PKC codes. (We have PKC as well as it's about 1/3 the price of VL for no discernible benefit apart from making MS rich).

I've installed Office 2010 Standard from the MS licensing site on my test box which is Win7 64 bit running on Xenserver 5.6.

    Using ezeactivator returns the following:

    Code:
Failed to inject KMS PID into memory!
Attempting to restart KMSEmulator with prepatched PID.
    Getting Office License Configuration Information.

I'm not 100% sure why the Windows fails as it did activate before and it is an activated version.

I'm not sure where to proceed in troubleshooting from here as I'm not really sure if the error is the KMS server isn't running (which appears to be the issue) or some other reason for the problem activating. Can I tell if the KMS is running?

I'd appreciate any troubleshooting steps anyone can help with.
