unrelated i have two humble unrelated requests,

1) esd decrypter to have a choice of extracting only without creating iso, (most of the time i install it on downloaded machine). for now i deleted cdimage.exe.

2) WHD-Windows8.1-Updates-Installer doesn't allow install of 8.1 updates on WS2012R2, when i use msmg toolkit it lets me apply the updates and skips the ones that don't apply. (its very inconvieniant to use msmg for that because you have to push 33y21 then 33y22 then 33y23 etc. till its all done)

Do i really need to install SP2 ? does it work fine with SP1 ?

Did you enabled Microsoft Update? and what is you Windows version?

Try to match the existing files

 

They don't match since the ISO .msp files have also "sp1" string in addition. And there is no "osamui" file.

 

Try to match does not mean identical match

Hi,
I thought that we just had to remove the full content of the "Updates" folder once extracted from the Office ISO and then just replace it with the full content of the extracted SP2.exe, or ? At least that's how I understood the 1st post. However, I downloaded also the ISO Recorder program, and try to merge everything into a new Office SP2.ISO, but right clicking the folder doesn't do anything, I don't get the option to "Create ISO image file" from that proggie. Can we use any iso creation program to create an iso from that folder ?
