I did a rough test on this method. Here are my results 1. Created an Initial backup of tokens and registry key 2. Used up all rearms Error: 0xc004d307 The security processor reported that the maximum allowed number of re-arms has been exceed. 3. Restored the backup and rearmed Error: 0xc004d301 The security processor reported that the trusted data store was tampered. 4. Opened Word to start repair wizard 5. Again tried to rearm Error: 0xc004fe00 (aka Notification mode) The Software Licensing Service reported that activation is required to recover from tampering of SL Service License Store. 6. Used KMS activation to become genuine 7. Rearms are restored. This looks like a déjà vu of PMR's method for windows.
With windows you could reset the rearmcount by removing the activation files. When running slmgr they were recreated with the initial rearm count. MasterDisaster, is this the method you referred to?
Yea it definitely sucks...lol But at least we explored it a little more. Perhaps another activation bypass exists and we have the thread to explore any non-KMS methods Thanks
I asked Hazar for it but he said he no longer had it! Smorgan has been "talking/spamming" how many times for how long his "project" so I doubt it actually exists not to mention would he ever let us work with it? I really doubt it! He was constantly saying if he talked about it or shared it then MS would immediately come to kill it...lol If it's an actual "reality" then all respects to him but after hearing about it for like 6 months and seeing absolutely no evidence to it's existance I highly doubt it...lol Oh and I have an pet Dragon but I can never show it to you because if someone see's it they'll kill it ...lol
The last time I talked to Hazar he said his hack didn't work anymore. I used his hack for the beta too and worked fine
Here's what's funny about 2010. I messed it up testing this stuff then used remove utility and restarted, reinstalled and now I can't activate...lol This is the only reason for this "alternative" thread to explore any other options for us besides KMS

Dam** office is too well protected, testing different approaches as i do to crack normal apps, mess up my installation and now im having problems reinstalling it. **** M$, hehe, can not even modify a single .png splash image without having to go trough some steps.... PS: Still working on it, I'll not give up so easily. Will try my best if not then whatever...
I know your just trying to keep me on my toes...lol But seriously get into virtual box. Then when you mess up it's easier/faster to reinstall stuff
