Please clarify me: in a Notebook Office 2010 Starter is preinstalled (try version). Well is necessaty to copy only the SetupConsumerC2ROLW.exe file in the existing office install folder of the notebook or it is necessary uninstall the Office 2010 starter and make use of the Office 2010 Starter Offline Setup Tool 1.3?
Only copy SetupConsumerC2ROLW.exe, put it in a new folder, and run the tool to have it download all the other files. Then you can uninstall Office 2010 try&buy and install only starter.
There is nothing wrong with it. I want to be able to install without entering a key. (enter the key at a later time, post-installation, possibly without internet access).
@Berny: Does anybody know which purpose these .dsft files have? Some say they are necessary, others not. One thing is clear: they are not obsolete cause then they wouldn't exist.
The .dsft files represent the difference between the latest .sft file and older version. Essentially, they are what Click2Run downloads when it wants to update an existing installation, but they are not needed for new installations.
Office 2010 Starter W8.1 Patch look here: h__p://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/48313-Office-2010-Starter-Windows-8-1-patch!
Those patch files won't be used from an harddrive but only downloaded from the web also if you use the tool it already gets you the latest SFT so they really have no use at all. You can verify that my tool gets all the right files because you can install the downloaded Office Starter without an internet connection, if any file was missing it wouldn't install.
Hi Berny, please update Croatian (hr-hr) in OST this is working link: Code: h__p://c2r.microsoft.com/ConsumerC2R/hr-hr/14.0.4763.1030/PackageProperties.xml
Thanks for the report. To all: any other feature/bugfix request before I release a new version to fix the Croatian URL issue?
