V2.1 BETA 3 is up. I added a feature in settings to change paths for KMSEmulator, AutoKMS, and AutoRearm. Please uninstall AutoKMS if you have it installed as you need the new one to use the paths (just uninstall and reinstall).
ok the md5 check for the B3 .exe file ok the KMS license uninstall from the Office 2010 Toolkit b.2. Updated the exclusion in the EAV Nod32 to the c:\windows\AutoKMS\AutoKMS.exe Used the c:\Windows for the KMSEmulator.exe In the c:\windows\autokms.ini there is the [path] section with: AutoKMS=C:\Windows\AutoKMS AutoRearm=C:\Windows\AutoRearm KMSEmulator=C:\Windows Hence is not necessary specify the c:\Windows\AutoKMS directory in the system path? Correct? The log of the OTK B.3 is: ------------------------------------ AutoKMS Ran At 09/03/2011 07:50:52. Successfully Checked Installed KMS Products. Professional Plus KMS Installed. Successfully Set KMS Host To 127.0.0.1 Started KMSEmulator.exe Attempting To Activate Professional Plus. Successfully activated after 1 attempts. Stopped KMSEmulator. Ty for work.
hi cody nice path change thx but is it possible to set kmsemulator to C:\Windows\AutoKMS\kmsemulator.exe ? it is better for AV-Scanner because you are able to exclude the folder AutoKMS. do you thing it is better to use variables for patch? Instead of C:\windows\AutoKMS use %windir%\AutoKMS? thanks for your fast and great work - well done
thats a very good idea, it would be better if everything would go to c:windows/autokms at present default kmsemulator is going to c:windows. it would be better if by default it could be included in autokms folder, would be much easier to put in antivirus exclusion list
Are you sure you are actually changing the time properly? I never had an issue with AutoRearm test in BETA 1. You have to NET STOP OSPPSVC before you change the time, then NET START OSPPSVC after you change the time, check the status to be sure the time has changed. Also it is common for your PC to revert the time if you have changed it. I know for a fact that properly changing the time and triggering the task manually works without a hitch so the task running on it's own should work. Yes you can change it and I do use variables when I initially set it, so C:\ is not hardcoded. You may have a problem if you use that on a different PC and the drive doesn't exist but if the path cannot be accessed it won't install. I kept Windows folder as the default as not everyone would use AutoKMS, so all you have to do is change it.
I have been trying to succesfully install this kms and it isn't working. It worked on the desktop computer, but I can't get it to work on the laptop. It keeps giving me a 8007000D error and says after 12 attempts it failed. I shut down the windows firewall and disabled the antivirus. Can anyone help please. Thanks
Thats right, it is a hacktool after all, Probably no way of getting around it apart from using an antivirus that can ignore it or doesn't worry about it.
I just activated my trial of office proffesional with this tool and it worked perfectly But , can I delete the tool now? Or is it neccesary to keep the tool on my pc?
Before I used the OTK, I disabled the antivirus and firewall from Norton Internet Security so the tool can work without interruption, now the office that I have is fully activated. My question is... After enabling Norton Internet Security back again it detects the file kmsemulator.exe, is ok to let it block and delete the file??
If you let the AV block the file it will not be able to activate your Office again (remember that KMS activation lasts for 180 days). The best thing to do is to add it to your AV exceptions, even if you delete the file
Office 2010 tool kit hi i installed office 2010 trail version. later i activated through office 2010 tool kit (EZ Activator). i got a message that activation failed. later rearm started and got a message activation done sucessfully. later i checked activation status on activation tab. i got the following message. --------------------------------------- SKU ID: 6f327760-8c5c-417c-9b61-836a98287e0c LICENSE NAME: Office 14, OfficeProPlus-KMS_Client LICENSE DESCRIPTION: Office 14, VOLUME_KMSCLIENT channel LICENSE STATUS: Activated Last 5 characters of installed product key: H3GVB REMAINING GRACE: 180 days (258712 minute(s) before expiring) --------------------------------------- i didn't understand remaing grace 180 days. when i check in licence option in office on top it gives office 2010 trail pro plus and says product is activated. please can you clear me this? chandu
Thanks to Cody etc for Beta 3. This version works better than previous versions due to the "path" setting, even when adding the exclusions to Avast the days remaining would always count down but not any more, it stays at 180 days. Thanks for this again.
Ok, I recover the file and add it to exceptions so it doesnt delete the file anymore, but what about the firewall?, cuz it keeps blocking it =S
