installed fine. just getting this straight. it works by running a script every 6 months that renews your 180 day liscense right?
ah cool that works. 1 more thing avira detected it as a virus. i added to ingore list because i assume it is safe. there is no malicious code in the autokms file is there?
I certainly missed something somewhere. The autoKMS.exe is located on a temp folder at user\name\appdata\local\temp. Manually, I added a folder in the windows directory named it autoKMS and copied the autoKMS.exe in. But I am afraid this won't solve the problem. On an other hand, the activator worked flawlessly and I am activated for 180 days. Any help will be appreciated. PS: Of course AV was inactivated during the EZ activator run and an exeption made.
I had no autokms in windows either. Only on a temp folder. The EZ activator was runed three times and I got three autokms.exe in the temp folder. Each on a different folder inside temp. I made a autokms folder because that's the place the exe is supposed to be according to the setting.ini.
What path have you set it to? By default it should now install to C:\Windows\AutoKMS\AutoKMS.exe Make sure the path you set it to is possible, as in browse to it if you want to change it. For no reason should AutoKMS wind up in temp folder.
Excellent tool, did 5 activations earlier and it worked flawlessly, best Office 2010 activation tool ever
Yap, used it..... worked fine for my office!!! But I think that the "Customize Setup" tab is little complicated
Maybe Bosh would have a better idea on simplifying it. I suck at UI design. On a related note I made all boxes that should be read only read only. This is because I realized you could type in messed up things into them, most likely entering a drive that doesn't exist in Paths in settings. This makes the combo boxes grey and uneditable by the user.
@letsgoawayhell I have 4 variants of the KMSEmulator and yours gets the best score. I can't brick yet to test the fix.
Oh, yeah. I hope it helps to further improve your activator. You know that I supported you from the very beginning. And about that persistent error, I'd be happy to hear from you.
This is the very exact place I did install autoKMS.exe. However, initially autoKMS.exe was in a temp folder. I found it with the search engine. As stated before, I made three attempts with EZ activator and got three autoKMS.exe, each in a different subfolder. Funny isn't it.
Delete everything, uninstall AutoKMS and try again, hit Load Defaults and Save in settings, and try again. Run Office 2010 Toolkit.exe on the desktop or something if you are running it in any weird folder. Then install it again, as I outright can't get AutoKMS to go there.
@ letsgoawayhell: Thanks for your help!! I'm very curious about how did you found the root of the problem in ZWT keygen, and how did you fix it. I have no idea how can it be done. Through here or a PM it's fine for me PS: @ Tito: do you have any suggestions for simplifying the UI?
