We do not want to force the user to have a third party software to uncompress the file, and .zip files are supported by default in Windows

Front post updated with 2.1.6 pic and timesurfer's mirrors. Keep testing 2.1.7 Rearm check, I need a quantity of users vs a massive number of attempts from a few. It is likely to happen in a few attempts if it does, if you've tried 20 times it's not going to magically fail the 21st time.
I'm curious, does anyone know how to change an OfflineInstallationID? It is computed from something in the OS and it stays the same no matter how much you reinstall/break office, but a OS reinstall will change it and using backups in any way does not affect it. letsgoawayhell said something about messing with the registry to make it change on a PC but didn't give details. I ask because I'd like to be able to make phone activation work after a reformat.
Ha, I just noticed the second post still has the original toolkit and a quote by me saying I restored rearms, meaning the idea for a rearm solution came to mind much earlier than I thought (before a post here and TS's research thread not that long after). A reminder to how far along this tool has come, the link to the original version actually works.
Usually they are lost successive between checks (rearm and activation), but I've seem my MAK activation unexplainably go to zero but not lose activation, usually based on restoring a certain kind of way.
as you said its lost succesive but activation is there its the same for me well done on improving this
