Use the mirror in the meantime, I have no control over server issues with the main link.

It is not connecting to KMS for whatever reason.

I'm having problems installing the toolkit on a Windows 2008 server.

When I try to install AutoKMS (v2.1.6), I get the following:

    Created C:\Windows\AutoKMS\AutoKMS.exe
    Created C:\Windows\AutoKMS\AutoKMS.ini
Failed to create AutoKMS Scheduled Task
Cleaning up as AutoKMS is partially installed
    Deleted C:\Windows\AutoKMS\AutoKMS.exe
    Deleted C:\Windows\AutoKMS\AutoKMS.ini
    AutoKMS failed to install!

There don't appear to be any logs I can check. I have tried earlier versions and changing the installation directories. I have disabled antivirus software.

I'm not sure that the problem really is creating the scheduled task as it will install a custom task. I could try setting up the task manually but the install deletes the AutoKMS file and I don't know how I can install that manually. I installed 2.0.1 successfully in the past so I don't know what has changed.

    Any suggestions?

Can someone else make it install on 2008 server? Not sure what the issue is but it couldn't make the task.

This is strange because I have had it installed in the past.

I went back to version 2.0.0 (haven't kept anything before that). It creates AutoKMS.exe and .ini in the Windows directory but I get:

    AutoKMS failed to install!
Here is a more detailed description about the error:
Cannot create a file when that file already exists. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800700B7)

    Is this any help?

Manually delete it and try again.

Sorry should have said, already tried that.

Are there any other files that get installed apart from AutoKMS.exe and AutoKMS.ini? I have checked that keygen.exe isn't in the windows directory.

Well, we need someone to test the cmd task creations in Windows Server 2008 as it's not officially supported

Check if your firewall or any antimalware program is blocking the KMSEmulator execution

Also, I have problem with nod 32 be 4.2.71. & w7 32b & office 2010 prof+. It froze my computer, but only reset button was active :(
Problem was solved with add exception in nod:
    c:\windows\KMSEmulator.exe
    c:\windows\AutoKMS\AutoKMS.exe

It's common knowledge to add the Toolkit's files in the antivirus/firewall exception :bruce_h4h:

Install the AutoKMS Service and your PC will be able to do that.

Hmmm, I install the AutoKMS service, then start it from the services. Taskmanager shows AutoKMS, KMSEmulator and conhost.exe running but when I tried to activate office 2010 from client machine, I'm getting two error numbers(800700D or the other one), both equivalent to "slui.exe not found".

Is that something I can do? (I'm pretty technical)

For the record, I've also tried 'run as administrator'.

    Cant EZ activate Office Toolkit

Hi Cody, I have never used Office Toolkit before and am a bit overwhelmed by the options so pardon if my question is a lame one.

I tried to use the EZ activation button on my Office 2010 Toolkit and EZ Activator v 2.1.5 final which I am running on Windows Vista 32 bit. After hitting the EZ activation button, I get a message saying "Could not access KMSEmulator path set in Settings, using default installation path.
    Failed to start C:\Windows\KMSEmulator.exe"

I've tried fiddling around with other buttons and options but, as of yet, have not been able to make it work. Any information that might help will be appreciated. THANKS!

    ED
