Everything is now uninstalled except for the activation assitant thingy. Don't know if I should unistall that too or not?
Shouldn't be any Q: Disk or click 2 run at all. Go to our Office 2010 forum, the stick thread that says all languages and versions, and get Pro Plus Retail and swedish LP there. Make sure you get pro plus, not Home Student/Business/Professional. Install to normal drive but the Q: should be gone first.
The Q: is where Office 2010 Click 2 Run dumps it's stuff. You can install Office 2010 whereever and toolkit can handle it, but Q: is for click 2 run, and you say it is now gone so you can install Pro Plus after you convert it to VL and add swedish. To everyone else, I will be removing Retail Keys, given they are all leaked and dead anyway, and most don't have a key to begin with. I'll be adding an external file to add keys like Daz Loader does, and you can add them there. I know you won't be able to install retail versions without the key but if you don't have a legit retail key you shouldn't be installing retail, knowing all activators need or work best on VL.
Thank you so much for taking your time with this! Much appreciated!! Hmm...so I should download the file first (the English one I posted?) and convert the installation file to this VL thing? And then install? And after that install the language pack? I shall not install and then convert?
1. DL Pro Plus Retail English 2. DL Swedish LP 3. Convert Pro Plus to VL using Customize Setup Tab 4. Add Swedish using Customize Setup Tab 5. Remove English using Customize Setup Tab 6. Install the resulting installer. You will see instructions for this in the readme. You have to extract the Pro Plus Retail EXE by pressing extract setup, then press Change License channel, then Add language, browse to Swedish LP, then press remove english after that, then go to the folder you extracted pro plus to to install the office 2010. 7. Disable AV and run EZ-Activator.
Yeah you'd have to browse to them there. You get the actual downloads first in the topic "Office 2010 Language Repository and All Versions".
At the top of the toolkit. If you are using a very old version it isn't there yet and you need to go to the first post and get the latest toolkit.
I probably have a very old one then.. It says 2.0 And which office should I use, 64 or 32? Which is best and most secure in this process?
So, how do I do this.... the read me instructions says: Customize Setup Tab: Set Installer Path: Opens window so you can browse to the setup.exe for your office installer. You must have previously extracted the Office 2010 Installer somewhere (ISO files and self-extracting exe files not supported, you must extract yourself). If the installer is both 32 and 64 bit (has a setup.exe and x86 and x64 folders), browse inside one of those folders for setup.exe, convert that, then repeat for the other folder. Are the files I downloaded extracted??
There is no harm in using 32-bit Office, it just means addons etc written for 32-bit Office won't work in 64-bit office. There is no harm in using 32-bit over x64 of course, its just for purely compatibility reasons. Some people have reported 64-bit Office handles some things better, like complex (not necessarily large) documents and for Powerpoint etc.
Curious why is it advised to dl retail when the VL's in office repo in section 2.2.2 work perfect magnet link
