Is what ok? The toolkit? Office after failed restore? Yes they both are dude. I hope I answered your question. IDK, you were not clear lol
Got it, though I have fixed these in 1.4.1 which hasn't been released yet as 2.0 is being worked on. It shouldn't crash when entering incorrent input now in 1.4.1.
Just wondering if CODYQX4 could give us some instructions on the proper sequence to do with his activator when someone wants to activate office vl proplus 2010 sorry but there are so many instructions and tools here, I have been reading for 3 days and the more I read the more lost I am. This forums threads are a mess. Sorry to say. K.I.S.S. Thanks
Just run EZ-Activator, the 32 bit one if OS is 32, 64 bit exe if OS is 64 bit. That should activate anything but starter. Though it may not work immediately as it installs then runs AutoKMS which will work if it is not interfered with (AV, Firewall, etc). Sometimes peoples Office 2010 gets stuck and just won't KMS activate though. Just running the EZ-Activator will do it as long as nothing goes wrong.
Windows Firewall You may add to firewall with this command for Win Vista and 7 Code: netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name="AutoKMS" dir=in profile=any program="(PATH)\keygen.exe" enable=yes action=allow >NUL Replace (PATH) with actual location of keygen.exe Modern software based solution like Kaspersky Internet Security is reading windows firewall entries and don't ask for permission. to remove use this command for Win Vista and 7 Code: netsh advfirewall firewall delete rule "AutoKMS" >NUL
you should say "If you use the windows firewall" dude because I don't think you can configure 3rd party firewalls by the command prompt lol
Yeah a useful idea but it won't work in enough cases, plus the exe extracts then deletes so may take 2 entries.
Thanks for a great tool. On Office Pro Plus VLE, I tried using mini-KMS Activator to no avail. I couldn't get anywhere with it. I tried your EZ-Activator, but it didn't work either. I finally used your Toolkit. It wouldn't activate either, but I was able to use the delete all license data function to finally get the job done. Story #2, I could not get Project Pro to convert to Volume License with EZ-Activator either. It would run successfully, but not activate the program. I reverted back to the Toolkit. I could not get it to load the keys and activate. However, I didn't want to go through clearing the license data and all that "reinstalling". So, what I did was tried option #10 by letsgoawayhell. I used it to install the VL key. Bingo, it converted to VLE and activated under a SECOND Project Pro key. To make sure everything was on the the level, I then used #4 Product Key Manager to uninstall the old key and also install the key again via your method. Activated again and checked the status again - grace period key gone, VL key good for 180 days along with Office. Just thought I would share in case it helps your development and to help others trying to do the same thing.
If option 10 worked to add Project Pro but EZ-Activator didn't it sounds like for some reason EZ-Activator didn't add the key/license. Did you check activation status after EZ-Activator but before option 10 and see what showed up for Project pro (as the old retail + new vl should have showed up.)
Well there is something else. As stated in the readme I used the version to match the OS. I have 64bit, so I ran it. Nothing happened. The process would flash a window open and then close immediately and disappear from Task Mgr. I am running 32-bit as that is what M$ suggests to avoid compatibility issues unless you need to run very large files in Excel, Access, etc. So, I ran the 32-bit activator. It ran and did as I stated previously. I checked before and after, open and closed a couple of the Office programs inlcuding Proj Pro, then rebooted and tried again - same result. No second key was generated using EZ-Activator, only when I used Toolkit and option 10. Note, I never entered a retail key but rather a trial key during installation, as I could not figure out the trick to turn it into VLE prior to install. I could not get Retail 2 VL to work either - and one other tool that is the same thing with a different name.
You excuse my English. From over one month I have tried all the systems of activation of Office 2010 Plus installed x86 on Windows 7 64 bit. I have read hundreds of forum. I have disinstalled, re-installed, has tried all the activators up to the mini-KMS 1.3, EZ-Activator 1.4.1.0, EZ-Tools 1.4.0.5 until the beta days are overdue. Now when I open a component of Office it appears a red writing that tells me "Activation of the product not result." It also opens a window that asks to change product key and from the code of error 0x8007000D. Closing the window seems that the product works well. Will it stop working one day? Does a system exist for activating the famous 180 days?
very nice GUI! I hope you optimize your toolkit for Volume License Version...I mean if I install Volume License Edition and want to use your toolkit to activate my full VL Edition. By the way: whats "AUTO" kms? Does it activate automatically every time safter 180 days? and: Can I use your toolkit instad of miniKMS activator? Is there a difference? Can your toolkid applied to full installer Volume License Edition of Office 2010 64 bit?
AutoKMS does activation at boot and shuts off (doesn't run 24/7 like mini-kms), and yes the toolkit will work on anything and does everything mini-kms does and more.
Hi I've already posted a similar reply here (forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/19218-How-to-convert-Office-2010-Retail-Installation-to-Office-2010-VL?p=303754#post303754) but your tool appears to be more straightforward and you seem good to reply so I figured I,d ask here as well. A quick recap if you don't read the quoted message : I have a genuine retail version activated on win server 2k3 but since this is a TS, it nags me about needing a VL version. Would using your backup tool preserve my license ? I've read all 34 pages of this thread and your backup seems a bit spotty by your own accord but what's the success rate for a case like mine ? Would using your tool preserve my retail license or switch it a a VLK ? And speaking of tool, EZ or toolkit would be best ? This is a AD enabled 2k3 server. Any way to instal a "true" KMS server upon which to authenticate my copy ? I'd only need one VLK and I don,t believe it actually checks against MS's servers if you have less than 5 ... but I'd probably need to activate the KMS server in some way ? If that can be done, how would I go about changing my copy from retail to vlk if that works though ... Thanks and sorry about posting in two different threads but this seemed different enough to warrant another post!
