Unisntall your stuff reboot dl the torrents for 2010 VL couple posts back with utorrent Then click EZ-activator
Frustration sets in... Hi everyone, If this was a radio show, I would start off by saying "first time caller, long time listener". First off, I would definitely like to extend my appreciation to the developers of the EZActivation Toolkit. I have used it myself, as well as turned a few friends and family members onto it. Thanks for the good work that you do. Now, onto my problem. A little background: I had previously used the toolkit to activate Office 2010 on my old hard drive, which crashed. A new hard drive (covered under warranty) was installed, but of course I had to reinstall all the programs I used on the old hard drive. I downloaded a trial version of Office 2010 from the Microsoft Office website, and then tried to use the EZ Activator, but it did not work. I figured I simply had to try again, but it was to no avail. Then I tried downloading another trial version through another email / profile I have,... and went through the same process, only to have the same result. I have been trying to work at this for the past two days, and cannot seem to resolve my problem. I have read through about 100 pages of posts (of the nearly 400 in this thread) trying to find answers, and have used everything from the Microsoft Fixits to Deleting License Keys through EZActivator, and rebooting. When I use EZActivator, the uninstall button is always red, not green. When I try to enter my trial key (that I get in the email from Microsoft), it momentarily appears with a green check mark, only to turn to a red "x" and to tell me that I can't use the product key. I have also re-imaged my hard drive twice, hoping that that would eliminate any hidden files that might be linking me / my computer to the umpteen attempts I've made to try and activate Office 2010 in the past few days. Everything has been fruitless. To the point: 1) Is Microsoft onto me? Is there any way that I can get Office 2010 to be activated on my computer, or should I give up? 2) After this most recent hard drive re-image, I have not installed any new programs - it is as clean as it can be, really, and the only action I've undertaken is to sign up for this forum in order to post my questions. If there are step-by-step instructions that I can follow (because I don't have a clue what I'm doing wrong through this process, having done it before and for friends / family many times without error), would someone please post them (or post a link, so that I don't have to sort through many more pages of posts)? I really would hate to have to re-image my hard drive for a third time in the past two days. FYI, I am running Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit). Like I said, right now, my hard drive is in the original state (same as when I bought it from the store). My sincerest thanks to all of you very skilled people that help regular people like me with these topics - I can say that it really makes a difference. Thanks
hey thanks time surfer. from what my guess is you figure my office is corrupt so u want me to dl differnt one and try?
found my issue i had the ez-activator and opened it over the network! you need to place it on the pc you are going to run it on otherwise it wont work hehe thanks just thought i would share
i dont need autokms installed? i guess i dont get it. i received the updates recently, and then i was told my version was not valid. so i downloaded this tool, and clicked ez activator and the message stopped coming up. but since, the AV is saying kmsemulator file is no bueno. and when it deletes it, and i restart, i see the file keeps coming back. thats not a problem?
Once your activated you can choose to or not to have a task system to keep your office at 180 days activated all the time What I was saying is that you don't have to have the task system set up cause you can allow the 180 days activated to run out then deal with re-activation later Up to you dude @Cody By the way the 2010 VL magnet links in repo sec 2.2.2 are working again so there you have it
I wish there was some way to actually verify those VL copies, the retail pro plus is on MSDN downloads and can be verified by the hash but the VL cannot be independantly verified as it does not appear on MSDN for all to see, this is the reason i do not use the VL version and just convert the pro plus retail from msdn, i find it hard to trust without being able to verify.
Probably the most popular ISO globally But if you want to be concerned then I can't stop you And the magnet link in the office 2010 repo in section 2.2.2 is up again And it's the same ISO's I believe Pro Plus VL But it really doesn't matter cause the convert time is very quick
Code: thanks bosh, here you go. Code: Getting Office License Configuration Information. --------------------------------------- Backing Up License Info In Case Of Failure. --------------------------------------- Changing any Unactivated MAK Keys to KMS Keys. --------------------------------------- If You Have Starter Subscription It Will Now Use Permanently Activated Key. --------------------------------------- Converting Unactivated, Trial, Or Subscription Retail Versions of Office to VL. --------------------------------------- Removing Any Unactivated Retail Keys Left Installed After Conversion To VL. --------------------------------------- Getting Office License Configuration Information. --------------------------------------- Attempting To Activate Office 2010 KMS Products. --------------------------------------- No KMS products detected.
hi cody, thanks for the reply, nope, that is from 2.1.6. here is from 2.1.7 B1, now its tellin no product keys? Code: Cannot use EZ-Activator because you have no active product keys. Activation status from 2.1.7 B1 Code: <No installed product keys detected> Activation status from 2.1.6 Code: <No installed product keys detected> thus this means i should re-install office? this would be my 3rd re-install if i do that
@elixir_arjay you dont have to reinstall office you can just simply go by the product key tab and choose the version you want the key for and the which version for then run ez-activator again
can't install keys in the toolkit and on the office, i don't know why but i have no problem activating it on xpsp3. on-going dl'd the retail version and see if the magic works.
