Hi, I've got two questions: 1. Does anyone know a safe way to install SP1? I have 64-bit Office 2010 installed (with language pack, on Win7 x64), and it is activated with CODYQX4 EZ-Activator (AutoKMS). Now, I have downloaded SP1. Can I just install it? Should I proceed some steps first (like license backup or something similar)? Or should I integrate SP1 to installation files and then reinstall Office? 2. I have activated my Office installation some time ago, with Office 2010 Toolkit 2.0.1. AutoKMS version in use is 2.0.0.0, KMSEmulator 6.0. Now I have downloaded Toolkit 2.1.6. Is it possible to update AutoKMS somehow? Or should I just leave it as it is? If I should update, how can I do it? Well, as I see now, it's more than two questions I really appreciate your help. P.S.: Not to forget, EZ-Activator is a great tool, works like a charm. Hopefully. it will work even after SP1 installation.
hi cody, i've installed office 2010 32bit in march. it is running smoothely till today. when i start my laptop today office setup installer started automatically and asked about the key. i cancelled the setup and run the Office toolkit 2.1.6. it had given error " KMS activation failed" my antivirus (kaspersky 2012) is disabled at that tme. i uninstalled the office and tried to install again but it is not installing and an error is diplaying " ERROR 25004, THE PRODUCT KEY YOU ENTERED CANNOT BE USED IN THIS MACHINE. THIS IS MOST LIKELY DUE TO PREVIOUS OFFICE 2010 TRIALS BEING INSTALLED. SYSTEM ERROR 1073422308" how can i install office 2010 again on my system, hlep me at the earliest. thank you chandu
Hi, i just installed SP1 and it was still activated with 180 days but i checked in the activator if activation was still working by clicking attempt activation, it didn't activate so i had to use the EZ activator, (which failed 10 times then changed the PID) then activation was successfull. But i think PID changing only works in 32bit office, i have 64 bit windows with 32 bit office.
It is not contradictory at all PID changing works in 64bit windows if you have 32bit office installed, i remember reading from CODYQX4 that it doesn't work if you have 64bit office installed in 64bit windows. Try and contradict me on that
Now that is clear -- and not a logical contradiction. Thanks. If you are using 64-bit Office, you should be prepared for more problems down the road. Even MS recommends the 32 bit over the 64 bit. It's been that way for some time now. "Try and Contradict You on That?" Surely you jest. Please reread the post. Logical Conclusion: If PID changing only works in 32-bit Office and he is using 32-bit Office, then there should be no problem. This is not even elementary Logic, which was in fact 1/2 of my double major - way back when.
No, Phazor's tool that did PID change didn't work, because the tool didn't work on x64. PID Change in the toolkit is fine for x64.
I need some advice or help. I can't update to Service Pack 1 from the windows update. It's always failed. I have tried many times but still doesn't work. I am using normal office 2010 plus. Thanks.
A big thanks to CODYQX4 and all involved in developing this office toolkit. I've got the off pro 2010 student version and wanted to try these office tools on a new test PC with win 7. I used the Office 2010 Installer Channel Switcher 1.3.2 first then installed the VL version created. I then used CODYQX4 office 2010 toolkit and EZ-Activator and found the whole process straight forward with no errors. Finally installed SP1 and so far no problems. Great work guys and thanks
Thanks for that useful info. I obviously missed that part hence using the Office 2010 Installer Channel Switcher 1.3.2. Thanks
This seems to be a great tool indeed. Haven't tried it on my installation yet - but I presume it works on a SP1-'integrated' installation, right? Since I m only concerned with the activation, can someone tell me why to use this toolkit, instead of just using a serial to activate? Are there any drawbacks to that? i.e. does it de-activate after a while if I just use a serial? I m only asking for information purposes - and have no intention of intimidating the purpose of the tool, so plz take no offense
After a very long wait, I finally decided to try out Office 2010, since I don't like Office 2007. Office 2010 is a great improvement and this is an excellent tool. Activated 2010 SP1 very easily. Question I have is regarding KMS Activation. Since I have yet to read this thread from the beginning and not knowing exactly how the scheduled task work, I am hesitant on installing AutoKMS with my currently running KMS Server. I have managed to get Phazor's server to run as hidden task. I am pretty sure Office 2010 will Activate with Phazor's (server don't know the commands to try to manually do it), but I do know my Windows will Activate with AutoKMS since I have tried it. When I start Windows, I see the AutoKMS task and it says ready, but there are no process with KMS or AutoKMS running. When does this kick in? Can someone tell me the commands to manually check or activate Office?
Back to working on V2.1.7. I am testing a new repair means. It will work more flexible and do a full repair of office. However this means it will take longer. The need to use license repair to fix activation has greatly diminished with the PID Fix technique in play though. @Tr3bg0D the processes close when not needed, and are triggered by the task. Basically AutoKMS.exe and KMSEmulator.exe run, do their magic, and close, repating when the task tells it to. You can check office with the check button and activate with the activate button. EDIT: Repair method not performing as I hoped so it is likely to be nuked.
I tried Activating via Toolkit with my KMS running and it did not work until I used your AutoKMS. How can I manually check Activation or Manually Activate to see if it will work with my running KMS? I don't want to have 2 servers running, so I either remove mine and modify so your's runs all the time or I use yours to initially Activate and then use mine. If I am to use mine, I need to verify that it works since I know yours will Activate W7.
cannot open tool kit As instructed I installed ms office 2010 and then tried to open the toolkit however every time i tried doin so, I am getting an error msg "the app failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). click ok to terminate the app." I tried turned off the antivirus (nod 32) but still it doesn't work. Can someone help me out with this please.
