The point of 2.1.6 wasn't to avoid A/V detection, but to avoid KMS errors that wouldn't let activate Office. And not being flagged is not something that can be easily fixed KMSEmulator.exe (its original name is Keygen.exe by ZWT team) was written to disk and ran from there, so the A/V had the chance to kill the process. Now KMSEmulator.exe is not written in disk, but I'm guessing it's the code that runs KMSEMulator.exe in memory is triggering something in the A/Vs.
it worked, but MSE did detect the KMS activator so i just allowed it.. also it said in the log that it failed 10 times, but then it worked right after that..

Can you manually edit the ini so that the KMSPIDOffice=55041-00168-305-190595-03-1033-3790.0000-2692009 KMSPIDWindows=55041-00168-305-190595-03-1033-3790.0000-2692009 becomes KMSPIDOffice= KMSPIDWindows= note that you will likely have to fight windows as it will whine about permissions or something (you could run notepad as admin). For some reason the default PID is sticking and it shouldn't, because you need it to be blank.
Hi Cody, Ok, no problems in editing the c:\windows\AutoKMS.ini because I work on my Windows 7U logged as Administrator, the true, hidden, Administrator, with the UAC set at the minimum. After manual editing the AutoKMS.ini is: [SettingsID] ID=2.2 [Global] KMSServer=127.0.0.1 KMSPort=1688 KMSPIDOffice= KMSPIDWindows= ActAttempts=10 UseKMSEmulator=True AutoRemoveKMSHost=False VerboseCheckActivation=False ShowCMID=False [AutoKMS] Logging=True ActivateOffice=True ActivateWindows=True [AutoRearm] Retail2VL=True Logging=True [EZ-Activator] PIDAttempts=10 CMIDAttempts=10 InstallAutoKMS=True Retail2VL=True MAK2KMS=True StarterSub2Bypass=True RemoveRetailKeys=True ChangePID=True AutoLicRepairAll=True ChangeCMID=True AutoMakeRestoreBackup=True [Paths] AutoKMS=C:\Windows\AutoKMS AutoRearm=C:\Windows\AutoRearm KMSEmulator=C:\Windows\KMSEmulator and now at reboot all seems ok. before editing: ------------------------------------ AutoKMS Ran At 29/07/2011 06:51:05.
