Does not work for torrent copy I have Microsoft Office 2010 Professional that I downloaded as a torrent file to try and save money and it works but I keep getting warnings that the activation will expire in a certain amount of time. I have tried the KMS Activator method as well as yours and they both fail at every turn. I click EZ Activator on the first page of the thing when I run it and I get and error which says "Failed to inject memory" So I got to the tab which reads Activation and click activate and get the same thing, so then I try clicking rearm on the same tab and I get "Microsoft Office rearm failed! Here is a more detailed description about the error: Error: 0xc004d307 On a computer running Microsoft Windows non-core edition, run 'slui.exe 0x2a 0xc004d307' to display the error text." I do not understand what is happening here except that maybe it does not work on a torrent version of the Office Suite!! Any advice would be golden and thanks in advance!! zlloyd1
Note that rearm does not mean activate. The rearm error means out of rearms. The "failed to inject memory means for some reason I couldn't start KMSEmulator process, done by starting vbc.exe and injecting into it. You most likely have AV or similar to blame there.
Ofc i will hangup before the helpdesk.. Just asking, are you saying that its impossible to use that MAK again? Or is there any possibility to regenerate that activation id wich im typing into the phone so i might get another chanse....
If you can't get the phone to spit out the number you need (When I call it asks me to type in, then reads to me, but this is US and the machine 100% of the time). Online is a no go for sure, if you can't get phone to work, then you won't get that MAK to work. When I call though I only have to say office 2010 and give the number, at no point do I talk to a person, but call centers vary from country to country. The ID you have now will remain the same as long as you don't reformat/reinstall OS. Also, the number they give you is always good for your ID. So if you type in their number in OTK, it will save it, so if you screw up office and reinstall it (but not the OS), pressing phone activation in OTK again will lookup your number and auto enter it.
Yeah if you screw up they send a person. You'll just have to bail and restart from scratch if that happens.
Hia CODYQX4 I have used Prodigys script a couple of days but the OS behave strange and I now want to try one of your toolkits. Is there something I have to do to remove the stuff thats already there? Is there a simple step by step guide? Tnx
Wow U guys were fast Yes that is the script and i have set a KMS server on Internet. Yes its a Windows 7 Enterprise x64 box. I had som crashes and it want to do repair. The OS is newly reinstalled. Do you mean the script tampered with the hosts file? Do I have to remove something before using your app ez-activator? Tnx again
You shouldn't have to do anything to reverse it. I mean hostname as in the registry, not hosts file. EZ-Activator will replace the old (and probably dead) KMS server that script uses, and activate you and install AutoKMS to keep you activated.
There is nothign wrong with the Prodigy scripts other then a KMS Server going off line. But if one goes off line temporarily, your server should activate to it when it comes back on line. There is a way to check the server availability within that topic area. I had been using the prodigy scripts for the longest time until I installed Office 2010 and then installed the LOCAL KMS Server. If you have issues with the scripts, you should post in that topic area. As for switching to CODY's tool, no brainer....just grab his latest Toolkit and run EZ-Activator as CODY said. @ CODY - Is there a way to switch Office from activating to the local KMS Server to an internet based server such as it is happening with the Prodigy Scripts?
One changes the hostname to do that. There is no nice way to fallback, but you could replace 127.0.0.1 with the server address and it would use the server instead of the keygen. Note that I'm sure all public KMS servers have died.
Is there a command to change it or manually change it in the INI file and select to ACTIVATE using the tool? As for the KMS Servers....alive and kicking I just ran my script to check the servers and 5 are currently up. Also....another reason to change servers is that I always wanted to experiment and run KMS on a single system on the network and have other KMS system point to the LOCAL KMS Machine to see if it works.
You change it via Settings button in OTK, but could edit it in notepad. Activation will use it, as I once used a real KMS server to activate Office.
So changing the INI file and then clicking Activate makes the proper changes in the registry...or wherever the info is kept?
