@CODYQX4 Just a little THX for your job ; it's OK for me with Office, Visio and Project 2010. My test was realized on a 32 bits system. I have download trial version on Microsoft server and modify them in VL version with this method : "How-to-convert-Office-2010-Retail-Installation-to-Office-2010-VL" found in this forum. In first time i have 180 days for Office and 30 for Visio and Project. When EZ-Activator reactive the KMS counter i have 180 days for alls !!! Can we have more information about the period of reactive system please ; boot or launch of an application of office (word, excel....) ? I read that with V2 it's possible to modify retail in VL ; according to you it's possible to transform a trial version installed in VL version with EZ-Activator ? THX for all.
EZ-Activator will convert installed retail/trial (which is retail) to VL. It also installs AutoKMS which will keep you at 180 days as long as your AV doesn't screw with it. It is in the windows folder and copies keygen to windows folder.
think this is my problem. NORTON 360 keeps on flagging the file even when ive (i think) disabled NORTON 360 any other way that i should do it? as with my problem above, im not able to run the application tool...
@bapski Add the Keygen.exe file as an exception in Norton 360. The toolkit has 0% false positive rate so, could you explain with detail why you can't run the Toolkit? I mean, what happens when you try to run the Toolkit..
THX for your explainasion but i dont know that retail and trial are similars !!! If i understand we can install trial version and use EZ-Activator to have "full" version ? In this case it isn't necessary to modify trial version in VL edition !!! @ CODYQX4 ; can you explain how works AutoKMS to reinitialize the counter to 180 days, please. THX
The AutoKMS attempts to activate Office when it's ran.. When AutoKMS is installed a scheduled task is created to run AutoKMS at every system startup. Hope that's clear
finally figured out how to exclude the TOOLKIT from being scanned and id as a trojan by norton and here is what happens when i use the CHECK option: --------------------------------------------------------- SKU ID: 6f327760-8c5c-417c-9b61-836a98287e0c LICENSE NAME: Office 14, OfficeProPlus-KMS_Client edition LICENSE DESCRIPTION: Office 14, VOLUME_KMSCLIENT channel LICENSE STATUS: ---NOTIFICATIONS--- ERROR CODE: 0xC004F056 ERROR DESCRIPTION: The Software Licensing Service reported that the computer cou ld not be activated using the Key Management Service (KMS). just tried to RE-ARM and this sort of activated my OUTLOOK.. but from what i know there is a limit to RE-ARMS isn't it? --------------------------------------------------------- SKU ID: 6f327760-8c5c-417c-9b61-836a98287e0c LICENSE NAME: Office 14, OfficeProPlus-KMS_Client edition LICENSE DESCRIPTION: Office 14, VOLUME_KMSCLIENT channel LICENSE STATUS: ---NOTIFICATIONS--- ERROR CODE: 0xC004F056 ERROR DESCRIPTION: The Software Licensing Service reported that the computer cou ld not be activated using the Key Management Service (KMS). Yes you can only rearm 3 times i think, so use it wisely..as there is no way yet to reset this rearm count without re installing unlike Windows 7
That's weird it should of said grace period 30 days where the notification is. Try running this command net start osppsvc in cmd or run an office program. Then try activating again.
re-tried activation as you have suggested and now its activated! yepey!!! now what's next? will NORTON SECURITY SUITE pickup the KMS? as i understand itll run everytime my computer starts? thanks again...
Yes, it will run at every system startup. If you want to change how often does AutoKMS run you can change the task "AutoKMS" in the windows task scheduler.
yup. NORTON SECURITY SUITE blocked it KMS, but seems like OFFICE 2010 its still activated.. seem like ill have to run activation again when i come across problems..
Just tried the Beta 2 on two computers (32 and 64 bit) both running Microsoft Security Essentials and it passed without being flagged. The keygen.exe on the stand alone activator and the first Beta both got flagged. Whatever you guys are doing, keep up the good work... every release keeps getting better and better.
I'm getting the error below, any suggestions? Changing any Unactivated MAK Keys to KMS Keys. --------------------------------------- If You Have Starter Subscription It Will Now Use Permanently Activated Key. --------------------------------------- Converting Unactivated, Trial, Or Subscription Retail Versions of Office Into VL. Here is a more detailed description about the error: Input Error: Unknown option "/sethst:127.0.0.1" specified.
The problem here is that the ospp.vbs script is not found. Which Office are you trying to activate?? The script is located in the %installdir%\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14 folder. If you are running 32-bit Office 2010 on a 64-bit operating system (WOW Architecture according to the Toolkit), the script is located in the %installdir%\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office14 folder. If you can't find the file there's a problem with your Office installation, and that's the cause of the problem. We need that info in order to help you
Thanks Bosh....I'm running Windows 7 64 bit and Office 64 bit. The file ospp.vbs is located in C:\program files\Microsoft Office\Office14.
Ok, open a command prompt as an administrator, and execute this command: Code: cscript "C:\program files\Microsoft Office\Office14\ospp.vbs" /sethst:127.0.0.1 Post the results please, since I have to discard problems with the ospp.vbs file
I recommend adding C:\Windows\Keygen.exe and C:\Windows\AutoKMS.exe to AV exclusions to make sure Keygen doesn't get interfered with.
